The scanning devices USO-1ТМ and USO-1ТМ (RV2SH) are used together with the Tomographic UD4-TM flaw detector and other standard flaw detectors for ultrasonic testing of the axes of freight and passenger wagons wheel sets. Axis scanning devices are recommended for use at wagon-repair enterprises of the Commonwealth, Georgia and the Baltic States when performing non-destructive testing of the axles of wheeled pairs of freight wagons in accordance with the requirements of RZD non-destructive testing normative.
