SLIDER M3 is a mechanical system of two-axis dimensioning. It is used together with a flaw detector Tomographic UD4-TM by procedures of Russian Railways, JSC - inspection of rail welded joints of electro contact and aluminum-thermite welding.
Designed to determine a probe position on a test piece, trace the probe trajectory, monitor the inspection completeness. It enables to determine coordinates of detected defects, display their images and assess their risk. SLIDER M3, is equally effective both at inspection at rail-welding enterprises (RWE) and rails laid in track.
