ROBOSCOP VTM-5000/PV is laser-scanning and flaw-detection system of subway-cars wheel sets hollow-shafts. In a profilometry mode geometrical parameters of the shaft, the mutual angular displacement of flanges and connecting holes are measured. In a flaw detection mode, welded joints such as non-welds, as well as surface and subsurface defects are measured.
