Tomographic 2.5, RD 32.150-2000



Specialized software application Tomographic 2.5 (EC Vehicles) is intended for testing parts and assemblies of cargo and passenger vehicles under eddy-current method in accordance with RD 32.150-2000 to reveal surface and subsurface flaws, including ones of fatigue and corrosion origin under eddy-current testing method. Being simple enough in operation, application possesses with wide assortment of features.
Setting process of the testing procedure is simplified significantly due to the function of automatic fine tuning of the probe optimal frequency used in the Tomographic UD4-ТМ application. In order to reduce labor content and to increase testing trustworthiness, Tomographic 2.5 supports devices that monitor the probe motion path (tomographic scanner, etc.).

Application characteristic features:

  • Displaying of signal in complex plane and time-based sweep of signal projections;
  • Archive for up to 500 settings and 1,000 flaw images;
  • Testing of rough and unmachined surfaces;
  • Evaluation of the flaw depth and length;
  • Visualization of scan path and graphical prompts.

Test results are documented by means of universal application NDT operator AWS included in the standard supply package.

Trainin clip enclosed to the procedure makes it possible to view the whole set of operation under RD 32.150 -2000 both on PC and flaw detector itself.
