FAZAR 32+

The working set FAZAR 32+ (version of the FR + TOFD version) includes a specialized flaw detector trolley with a control unit, rail search systems with FR + TOFD sensors and contact fluid tanks. The method of movement is manual, the average speed of control is up to 4 km/h.

Phased array converters and low-frequency TOFD converters, of own production, are used to scan the railway track (P50, P65, P75). The software allows you to configure the control in semi-automatic mode, has the functions "auto-size" and "auto-protocol", which allow you to form a control protocol in a PDF file and instantly send it to the control room via GSM communication.

Electronic control of the ultrasonic beam input angle and analysis of reflected echo signals allow forming an S-scan on the flaw detector screen in real time, in the form of a two-dimensional cross-section image, which gives the operator visual information about the location and coordinates of defects, allows measuring their real dimensions.

The ultrasonic beam formed by a multi-element phased array can be directed at various angles and focused at any depth, which significantly increases the reliability of detecting defects located at various points of the rail section.

Features and advantages of Fazar 16/128 within the railway complete set:

• Detection of all types of defects during continuous inspection, including in the feathers of the sole of the rail;

• Continuous documentation (registration) of the control results in the form of defect diagrams of the controlled areas, with reference to the track coordinates;

• The information is presented in the “B” type scan format, with data on the amplitude-time characteristics of the registered echo signals;

• Functions "auto–measurement" and "auto-protocol" - formation of a control protocol with the possibility of instant dispatch to the control room via GSM communication;

• Absence of "blind" areas of defect omissions during ultrasonic inspection by multichannel converters on phased arrays (FR);

• Identification of complex defects (type code 21.2) that are under layering during continuous control from the skating surface;

• Detection of corrosion-type defects (code 69) in the feathers of the sole of the rail;

• Signaling of defects – sound and color, indication of the set values of the conditional sensitivity of channel monitoring (dB), the coordinates of defects (mm), the current track coordinates of the monitored section of the path (km and m);

• The presence of a continuous monitoring system for the condition of the acoustic contact.
