The test bench PHOTON 1200 is designed for the continuous monitoringin flow production of pipes and axles to check their compliance with specified geometric parameters. It is used in the pipe and metallurgical enterprises, producing pipe fittings and round bars.

The PHOTON 1200 principle of operation is based on measurements of geometric parameters in the same section during the rotational and translational movement of inspected parts. The system is stationary and easily integrable into the customer’s conveyor. Depending on the production demands PHOTON 1200 can be programmed for the required scanning increment with regard to the testing size. There is a built-in flaw alarm function (FAS). Data collection, processing and display of test results via PC are available online.

Test objects are industrial pipes, rods, axles, various shafts (of engines, turbines, generators).

Software configuration of tracking parameters:

• External current and average diameter;

• Ovality and curvature;

• Taper;

• Saddle shape and barrel shape.

The open structure of PHOTON 1200 allows you to adapt the test program to a customer’s terms and resolve more complex and serious problems. If you, for example, must obtain the "radius of curvature" parameter, the system is equipped with a special optical envelope tracking scanner. PHOTON 1200 measures parametric deviations from the specified values, monitors and analyzes geometrical parameters of the object:

• Measurement of linear movement of the workpiece (its length);

• Radius of curvature.

PHOTON 1200 is universal for operating in aggressive environments, under high temperatures and in contaminated areas.

Package content:

• Two-channel laser module (receivers / emitters);

• Alignment mechanism for optical elements;

• PC;

• Application software for the control and processing of test results;

• Operating manual with adjustment and verification procedures.

The system is resistant to external climatic factors, conforming the UHL 4.2 performance group (GOST 15150, maximum operating temperature: +1 to +45°C, upper value of relative air humidity is 80% at 25°C).

The main unit meets IP54 in accordance with GOST 14254.
