"Tomographiñ 1.1." - General purpose flaw detector
Tomographic 1.1. “General purpose flaw detector” realizes all ultrasonic flaw detector functions and allows to:
• detect flaws as inhomogenities and delaminations in materials, semi-finished materials, products, welds,
• measure flaws depth and coordinates,
• detect thickness, propagation velocity, attenuation of ultrasonic vibrations in the material.

The complex ultrasonic testing technique that is built into UD4-T is widely used at enterprises involved in the formation, maintenance and repair of wheelsets, including the ultrasonic testing during restoration of worn-out elements or their heat strengthening.

The specialized application software "Osi-270" implements the technique of railway (rough and final) axles testing according to RD 32.144-2000 and RMI 230-015-87. The ultrasonic testing technique is intended to detect soundlessness and search for discontinuities in all types of railway axles (rolled, solid) during the acceptance test. .
The ultrasonic testing application is intended for detection of soundlessness and discontinuity in railway axles of all types during acceptance tests.

The technique is intended to test parts of the locomotives CS2, CS2t, CS4, CS4t, CS7, VL, 2TE116, 2TE10, M62, TEM2, CME-3, ER1,2,9, ED4m, ET2. The range of tested parts: axle, rim, roll surface, interdental hollow, traction motor fastening bolt, suspension bolt, driveshaft, small pinion shaft, lenghthened hub, suspension arm, suspension roller.
The specialized application Tomographic 2.3. performs testing of such details as: axle, rim, roll surface, cogs throat, suspending bolt, cardan shaft, small pinion shaft, nave and other.

"Tomographic 2.4." - Switch and rail welded joints testing

UD4-T comprises the testing of aluminothermic welding railway joints, according to TI 07.22-2000, and also tests frog welds of high-speed switches, while being manufactured according to TI 07.47-2005 with coordinate devices.

"Tomographic 2.5." - Eddy current testing of railway car parts (RD 32.150-2000)

The technique is intended to detect surface and sbsurface defects, including the fatigue and corrosion defects, using the eddy current testing method. The program provides wide capabilities and is easy-to-use. The device adjustment process is considerably simplified due to optimal automatic control of the transducer frequency.

"Tomographic 2.6." - Eddy current testing of locomotive parts
The specialized application software "EC Locomotives" is intended to test locomotive and MU parts during their scheduled repair in depots and factories.

Visual testing

"Tomographic"UD4-T implements the widely used video scanner feature, which is intended to visualize the testing process in hard-to-reach places. This feature enables to display simultaneously the tested area and transducer signal on the device screen.
